Grout Sealing - Step by Step
At Strictly Grout we use a 6-step process to revitalize your floor surfaces.
- 1. First we dry sweep your floors if needed.
- 2. Apply a specialised cleaning solution let it sit for 15 minutes then agitate.
- 3. Rinsing using high pressure self contained cleaning and extraction tool.
- 4. Dry your floor using air movers before colour sealing is applied.
- 5. Apply grout sealing colour to your grout by an experienced accredited trained applicator.
- 6. We then buff the entire floor to remove any excess sealer left behind, you will not believe how new your floors will look and stay that way with our 15 year guarantee.
Sealing grout
Adding a grout sealer protects your grout so it’s water-resistant and will repel moisture and germs. Sealing the grout helps prolong the look, texture, and consistency of your grout and prevents mildew and mold. Your grout will look better and last longer. The one exception to the rule is if you have epoxy grout.
What happens if Grout Sealer dries on a tile?
If it dries up on the tiles, then a thin film of haze is formed on the tile surface. As a result, the tile loses its shine and beauty. Grout sealer removal is important to retain the attractive look of the tiles.
