We don’t just offer Shower Regrouting. With many years of experience in tile and grout maintenance, Strictly Grout is the industry leader in floor and wall re-grouting. We use the latest machinery for removing old, damaged, and discolored grout. We also use the latest in grout additive to highly reduce the recurrence of any mold.
After years of scrubbing and using harsh cleaning chemicals in the shower, on the floor, and on kitchen and laundry splashbacks, the grout wears out and becomes crumbly and very porous allowing mold spores to settle and grow a lot more easily.
By carefully removing the old grout from around the tiles with specialized machinery and then replacing it with a sanitized colored grout, the results will be simply amazing and bring new life to an otherwise condemned area. The process we undertake when Shower Regrouting ensures that your shower lifespan is extended for many years.
The first step in the re-grouting process is to remove all the silicone sealers in the cubicle including the shower screen. Then the grout is carefully removed using specialized equipment. Once the grout is removed, the walls are then treated to kill any mold spores and bacteria lurking behind the tiles. Next, we re-grout the tiles using a sanitized grout with a built-in mold inhibitor and sealant giving you peace of mind and longer-lasting results. Finally, colour matched sanitary grade silicone with mould inhibitors is re-applied to the shower cubicle and glass screens.
The same process is applied to kitchen and laundry splash backs, tiled bench tops and sink surrounds.
There are three primary reasons why people get their shower regrouted. Firstly, they have had grout crack and are experiencing water ingress. Secondly, they dislike or need to change the stained and dirty look of their tiled shower for their own liking or for resale. And thirdly, the shower has become a serious health issue.
Many customers ask us about the cost to regrout a shower. The simple answer is that it can be difficult to give you a price over the phone because some showers require more preparation than others. We also take into account the size of the shower and whether there are uneven tiles or broken tiles. Ideally, we prefer to visit you in person and offer a same-day quote. We offer a free consultation and quote service.
